When the physicians at Palmetto Medical Group were ready to open their new practice, they contacted Progressive Technology due to our extensive knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and overall experience with technology in the Healthcare Industry. We cabled the existing space they would soon occupy which included data, phones, video, and a cellular repeater solution to boost cell phone coverage inside the facility. We also designed and installed a wireless (WiFi) solution that provides secure wireless access for the many tablet PCs that are used each day, as well as Public Internet Access for their patients. We finalized the project by installing a VOIP phone system and Network Server to support their EMR software. We continue to support and assist with their technology needs, and are proud to have assisted in the start of this successful practice.
